‘Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope’ Screening
Blue Skies Initiative continues to screen and offer facilitated discussions of the movie ‘Resilience: The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope’.
This 1-hour documentary film is about the impact of childhood trauma. The findings of the Adverse Childhood Effects study, published in 1998, have revealed the most important public health findings of a generation. Scientists now realize that extreme childhood trauma is one of the leading causes of everything from heart disease, to substance abuse and depression.
Screenings are available to Early Years Professionals, National schools and secondary schools in the Clondalkin and Adamstown area.
During the restrictions we are screening this virtually.
Any questions around potential screenings can be sent to Edwina email@example.com or Aoife firstname.lastname@example.org
