Restorative Practices

Restorative Practices (RP) are an evidence-based set of skills that help develop and sustain strong and happy organisations and communities by actively developing good relationships, preventing the escalation of conflict and handling conflict and wrongdoing in a creative and healthy manner.

‘Restorative Practices’ puts good, healthy relationships at the centre.

It can be implemented in schools, at home and in community settings to help promote self- awareness, empathy, mutually respectful relationships and listening skills.

The Blue Skies Initiative run training developed and owned by the Childhood Development Initiative.

Our training is available to anyone living and or working in Clondalkin, Adamstown and Balgaddy and run a number of programmes throughout the year.

We provide trainings in house for schools/organisations when requested and availability dependent.

Whole staff information sessions are available for schools/organisations. These provide the team with an introduction to Restorative practices.
