Blue Skies Initiative Ready Steady School Programme is created to help support children in their transition from early years to primary school. A large number of Early Years Services across Clondalkin/Balgaddy and Adamstown take part in the Ready Steady School Programme each year and send out a number of resources to parents and guardians. Some of these resources can be found below.

- schools to help children engage in conversation about going to school
- Sample uniforms for dress –up
- 2 storybooks about going to school
- 1 Jigsaw of a classroom
- Transition documents for each child
